Overview

A key role in the development of new business, the Corporate Development Specialist will:

•         Provide strong market intelligence to support the activities of the Workplace Development Department.

•         Suggest and implement improvements in potential account identification and vetting process.



Responsibilities

•         Build a thoughtful approach to gather customer insights and pursue potential leads from business publications, intelligence databases, web searches or digital resources to provide both context and access to the right contacts.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of verticals markets and trigger events in the marketplace.
  • Identify and Vet opportunities for sales pipeline in the field.  
  • Research and discover methods to increase prospective customer engagement and outcomes.
  • Use the creative process to generate buyer based messaging on internal or external drivers.


Qualifications

•         High School Degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, business, or related field preferred

•         2 years’ experience in research, analysis, sales support or related field.

•         Demonstrated and proven sales support results

•         Hands-on experience with CRM software, MS Excel and sales intelligence databases

•         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•         Strong analytical skills to determine a successful business approach
