Overview

This unique position in the Merchandising department offers key client interaction on product selection as well as visual merchandising through floorplans and 3D room renderings. Successful candidate will have experience in home staging or furniture, have a strong grasp of CAD and other 3D software and have a keen sense of style.



Responsibilities

  • Interact with National Sales team to support key customers with furniture selections that reflect their brand while using CORT’s catalog of new and existing products
  • Generate 2D and 3D floor plans, presentation materials, mood boards for key account client presentations
  • Communicate with key customers via phone or in person to present furniture selections
  • Develop lifestyle room renderings using 3D software that support the trends identified by Merchandising and will be used by sales and website
  • Review and approve all third party 3D renderings (product and rooms)
  • Maintain and update block plans for rental and retail showrooms
  • Work with managers of key rental showrooms to maintain lifestyle focus of furniture vignettes and product displays
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20%


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Design, Visual Arts or related area
  • 2 + years experience in space planning or related role
  • Experience in furniture or home staging is a plus
  • Proficient in CAD and 3D programs
  • Self Starter
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
