Overview

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of outside sales teams with the overall goal to meet and exceed budgeted revenue of unit growth for sales region.  Focus would be on new business and development of existing business. This manager will over see the San Francisco and Sacramento Markets.



Responsibilities

  • Build, direct, coach, and motivate an effective sales team in developing profitable revenue-travel required;
  • Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules;
  • Develop sales campaigns to achieve sales goals;
  • Business development through industry networking;
  • Aid in the negotiation and bids on furniture rental contracts;
  • Direct strategic processes involved in business, organization planning coordination and execution;
  • Coordinate communication with Operations to ensure sales strategies meet district needs;
  • Calls on key customers to ensure service satisfaction and identify continued growth opportunities


Qualifications

  • College degree with 6+ years of combined business-to-business sales experience and distance management experience or minimum 10 years industry experience without degree;
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a sales force with a proven record of increasing sales and profit;
  • Excellent communication and reasoning skills, computer proficiency and account development and management skills;
  • Ability to develop effective marketing strategies, accurately forecast revenue growth and profit;
  • Ability to build relationships with external and internal customers;
  • Must have valid state driver’s license and safe driving record;
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to speak, read and write English
