Responsibilities

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to assist our Outside Sales team with the event sales process, provide a positive customer experience, administer sales leads, prepare sales quotes, and other administrative duties. 

Some include:

  • Respond to and notify Outside Sales of customer inquiries.
  • Coordinate and confirm sales quotes.
  • Coordinate delivery and pick-ups with Operations.
  • Prepare sales reports and opportunity reports and CORT Furniture Rental referral and relocation trackers.
  • Maintain, update and synchronize customer relationship database(s) for Account Executives.
  • Communicate with Outside Sales to review client, order, and project status.
  • Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customers.
  • Provide product and pricing information by clarifying customer requests; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information and answering questions.


Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate College degree or related industry experience 
  • Ability to quickly connect with others and demonstrate exceptional customer service
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience using SalesForce and MS Office
