We are looking for a self starter to manage our warehouse.  Do you love numbers, want to roll up your sleeves, and love building a team?   



Responsibilities

  • Identify market potential, engages in business development, identifies and analyzes sources of competition, establishes pricing and market strategies, estimates potential sales, and manages mature product through phase-out.  Report on these to DGM once a quarter. 
  • Identifies sales (both Event and Tradeshow) opportunities and reports leads to DGM and Account Executive on a weekly basis. 
  • Manages labor, temp labor, truck, transportation, and warehouse to meet budget commitments. 
  • Controls inventory to insure the integrity of computerized inventory database on a daily basis. 
  • Coordinates incoming and outbound transfers to assure appropriate balance of product and control costs.
  • Maintains a culture where everyone in the facility is knowledgeable of safe work practices and committed to following safe work practices. 
  • Driving, delivering and retrieving furniture to/from tradeshow and special events sites.
  • Maintains a company presence in the local business community
  • Maintains and strengthens relations with contractors
  • Previous management experience managing a team


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years plus management experience
  • Shipping and receiving experience
  • Relationship building experience
  • P&L experience
  • DOT experience
  • Valid Driver’s license and safe driving record
