We are looking for someone with an infectious passion for nurturing customer relationships to join our world-class marketing organization. This person will be part of a team that is responsible for connecting to the hearts and minds of both potential and existing customers, creating 1:1 customer journeys and inspire engagement at every turn.

This person will have a background in the latest email and CRM marketing technologies and practices. This Marketing Manager will be a subject matter expert supporting brand and cross-functional teams on the delivery of CRM marketing programs. He/She will own the execution of CRM marketing strategies for CORT including campaign governance, enhancements, and will be delivering best practices to the organization. This individual will have responsibilities that span multiple Business Groups and Customer Segments within the CORT organization, and will work closely with the Online Business Development (OBD) team, Marketing team, Sales teams, key stakeholders, IT and external agencies to roll out best-in-class experiences and journeys for our current customers and potential customers.

The successful candidate should have a strong combination of marketing creative capabilities, analytical prowess, technical aptitude and business judgement. He/she is focused on results, is a self-starter and has a demonstrated success in using analytics to drive a better understanding of our business and customers, and ultimately to enable significant growth

Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of CRM marketing initiatives to optimize customer loyalty, acquisition, retention, personalization, and promotional strategies
  • Manage the day to day project management with our marketing cloud Implementation Partner
  • Work on business requirements document with stakeholders and translate those requirements to the agency.
  • Monitor health of sending IP addresses using ReturnPath Inbox Tools and work on improving deliverability. Monitor Email Campaigns using this tool.
  • Develop, manage and report on our external and internal marketing surveys
  • Manage the day to day relationship with our survey software partner Clicktools
  • Develop reporting and insights based on a clear understanding of business objectives to inform marketing initiatives
  • Monitor legal issues surrounding customer data and privacy
  • Develop CRM best practices for CORT, our different business groups and cross functional teams to ensure success
  • Design email testing structure to ensure ability to read and properly measure a/b tests
  • Maintain counts of key audience segments and monitor trends in the health of the lists, identify opportunities, and potential data quality issues
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to manage email deployment routes & scheduling
  • Ongoing analysis of customer and potential customer behavior, including email performance to provide recommendations for testing & optimization
  • Drive execution of strategy across email, including promotional, automated, and segmented/customized campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and automation tools such as Journey Builder
  • Manage key data fields and integration between our CRM and marketing automation systems and develop dashboards with key performance indicators to monitor how email and other marketing efforts are performing against goals
  • Define best practices and set measurable objectives
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree with a focus on marketing, marketing analytics required.  Master's Degree a plus.
  • 3-5 or more years of experience in CRM, direct marketing campaign development and execution and analytics required. Experience in loyalty program management is a plus
  • Experience with various email marketing platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud (previously ExactTarget), Automation Studio and Journey Builder. Knowledge of AMPscript and SQL. Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Reporting and Campaign Management.
  • Experience developing integrated marketing strategies and integration of CRM with broader traditional and digital marketing efforts
  • Technical acumen with an ability to understand IT solutions and potential tradeoffs – able to communicate technology concepts to business users
  • Strong data manipulation skills and ability to draw actionable insights for developing compelling and innovative customer programs is required
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and understand relational data
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/processes at one time
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders from cross functional teams
  • Very analytical with strong grasp of database management, query development, and reporting
  • Very strong at optimizing existing campaigns and brainstorming out-of-the-box ideas for driving increased performance
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook
