Oversees minor repairs at facilities and solicits bids for all major repairs as directed. Is primary contact for national HVAC Vendor and maintains database of all installed HVAC equipment and applicable warranty information.  Is primary contact for other national suppliers of materials that CORT orders nationally, (carpet, signage, lighting) and initiates placement of orders subject to applicable project manager’s approval. Assists in maintaining cost history on all construction as well as in follow up of any warranty issues related to construction or equipment purchased.

  • Functions as Owner’s Representative for minor repairs on company facilities
  • Manages preventative maintenance program (specifically HVAC, and roofs) as directed for leased and owned facilities.
  • Maintains database with respect to Landlord maintenance responsibilities on lease properties to facilitate determining who has responsibility repairs and if it is Landlord’s responsibility, works with real estate personnel as necessary to have necessary repairs completed. If determined it is Tenant’s responsibility, ensures repairs are completed in a timely manner in accordance with lease terms.
  • Receives and processes requests for carpet and paint, and ensures correct quantities are specified and places order after confirmation received from applicable party.
  • Solicits bids for signage and working with applicable real estate leader, obtains Landlord approval and makes recommendation to Director for ordering of signage.
  • Ensures billings received from outside vendors and suppliers are corrects and processes for payment.
  • Maintains communication with operations and other corporate departments on all aspects of  repair projects including schedules, milestone action dates, and costs.
  • Maintains a database of facility/construction information and actual historical costs.
  • Oversees removal of all corporate identification and assists Districts in removal of (and disposal of if requested) all applicable equipment and in having any repairs completed prior to lease expiring to ensure compliance with lease and return of all applicable deposits.
  • Responsible for implementing repairs as directed for all facilities to insure appropriate preservation of assets at minimal maintenance costs.

  • 1-2 years Facility Maintenance experience.
  • Understanding of minimum level of HVAC requirements needed for facilities based on size of conditioned space
  • Computer literate in MS Office, Excel
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to interact effectively with all levels of organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering, or real estate or equivalent experience.
