CORT is looking for 2 Marketing Interns for the summer of 2018.

This position will be supporting key strategic initiatives at CORT. We are looking to grow our business dramatically in the near future though marketing and sales campaigns directed to key customer segments including (but not limited to) Property Leasing Agents and college students.

Candidates must be based in the Washington, DC, metro area and provide their own transportation. 

  • Conduct online surveys to improve CORT’s understanding of Leasing professionals, clearance center customers, students and CORT employees

  • Analyze CORT customer information to identify opportunities to better target CORT marketing campaigns and outside sales activities

  • Analyze media campaigns and provide recommendations for future initiatives

  • Support internal marketing requests

  • Work with Social Media Marketing Analyst to develop social media to target college students

  • Assist with editing of marketing collateral including flyers, brochures, print advertisements, and presentations

  • Ensure consistent branding standards

  • Other marketing duties as needed

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or Journalism

  • Prior Marketing experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytic skills

  • Experience with surveys preferred

  • Self-starter

  • Knowledge of PC operating systems

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)

Ability to work at least 20-30 hours per week at CORT’s corporate headquarters in Chantilly, VA.  A minimum of 12 hours a week is required.
