A Marketing Representative will initiate contact with existing and potential new customers within the Multi-Family Housing and other targeted industries to identify their potential needs that could be met with the sale of CORT’s previously leased and new furniture. This is an entry level sales and marketing opportunity.

  • Making sales calls to apartment communities to generate referrals to both our apartment finding division and furniture rental division.
  • Participate in Trade shows and Industry Events designed to elevate the Cort brand.
  • Generate new business opportunities through promotions and marketing efforts to include research, telephone prospecting, cold calling, referral incentives and networking. 
  • Coordinate work by communicating with Sales Account Representatives, Sales Account Executives, DGM’s, Regional Sales Managers and Operations.
  • Develop relationships in the local business community that provides for market intelligence on our competition along with prospective new business ventures that could utilize CORT’s services and products. 
  • Develop an understanding of CORT's array of products and services to integrate with customer needs.
  • College Degree Preferred in a Related Field
  • Ability to utilize computer to manage contact information, schedule, expense reporting, email communication, customer research, and internal communications.
  • on a daily basis to record sales activities and communication with customer
  • Excellent presentation skills
